After opening our office in Geneva, we brought a visit to the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) during our annual Strategic Days. Our forecasting and planning specialists worked together with the Red Cross team on several topics. We made a quick scan to improve their inventory management for medical supplies, gave them hands-on support to improve their dashboarding and brainstormed on performance measures and establishing realistic targets. It was an inspiring day and we felt privileged to help this humanitarian organization. In the end, humanitarian organizations are also run like a business with the need for efficient and effective planning processes.
