EyeOn Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out the ways in which all members of EyeOn B.V. may use your personal data.  With this policy, EyeOn adheres to the requirements set by the privacy law.

That means, among other things, that:

  • We limit our collection of personal data to only the personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;

In this privacy policy we explain which data we use, for which purposes and how we store this data. EyeOn reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Personal information
We collect any information you provide to us when you complete registration forms on the website, apply via mail, meet us during conferences (photos & videos) or provide us with your details over the phone, for example when you register to attend one of our events, subscribe to our mailing list or hand-over your business card to one of us.

The personal information you provide is only being collected for legitimate business purposes, which includes processing registrations, keeping you informed about new events, products or offers and providing the best possible service to you. All information provided by you will be held in the strictest confidence.

It includes the following (however is not limited to):

  • Department
  • (Company) address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Interest areas & preferences
  • Events visited & contact history

Data collection on website
We may collect information about you visiting our website and how you use it. This may include your IP address, geographical location, device information, browser type, referral source, length of visit, operating system, number of page views and similar information. This information may be collected by a third-party website analytics service provider on our behalf.

Information sharing
We may collect information about you from third parties that we work closely with for the purposes of delivering to you the services that you request from us. For example, we may engage third parties to assist us with our (online) event registration systems; these entities will collect information directly from you on our behalf. We do not rent or sell our customer e-mail lists to sponsors. We may share your personal information with professional organizations (eg. registration system partner), that we work with, where necessary for the purposes of delivering to you services that you request from us. Data Storage and Retention
The personal data we hold is stored on EyeOn servers and on the servers of cloud based database management services located in Europe. EyeOn retains data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with EyeOn, or for as long as is necessary to provide you with the services that you have requested from us, the law otherwise permits. We use a variety of technological and operational security measures to protect your information against any unauthorised access to, unlawful use of, and modification and destruction of any personal data we store. Access to all of our users’ information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.

Your rights in relation to your personal data
EyeOn respects your right to privacy. We ensure all data is managed lawfully, fairly and transparently. You can request a copy of the personal data that we keep about you anytime via mentioned contact details. You can ask us to provide the data in a commonly used, machine readable format. You can ask is to correct, stop processing, or delete your personal data.
