Project driven organizations often use dedicated Project planning tools (e.g. Primavera)  to manage their projects, project budgets and resources. ERP applications typically are transaction-oriented, integrating supply chain flows with financial controls, which results in the generation of products, instead of projects. Integrating the Project planning tool with the ERP system enables organizations to efficiently use the best of both worlds. The project planning can steer the execution of the business processes in ERP, while actual cost information can be used in order to further improve the planning. Creating an interface is not only about synchronizing data objects, it’s also about defining the demarcation between systems and implementing integrated processes. In this webinar we will share our approach on how to design the integration between ERP and Project Planning tooling.
