Statistical Forecast Assessment for DSM Neoresins

EyeOn has conducted a Statistical Forecast Assessment for DSM Neoresins. Through this assessment DSM Neoresins gained insight in the optimal statistical forecasting model and the target forecast accuracy that can be achieved. The assessment showed that the current demand planning process without statistical forecasting results in a good forecast accuracy but the same forecast accuracy can be achieved via a statistical forecast. Using statistical forecasting would considerably reduce the effort needed for generating a forecast, which in turn can be used for forecast enrichment for those areas where sales input really adds value.
