EyeOn provides temporary support at Janssen Pharmaceutica

Janssen Pharmaceutica is one of the most innovative pharmaceutical companies in the world. Due to the ongoing roll-out of an ERP system for worldwide chemical operations and the increasing market demand, the workload on the planning department was exceeding the available resources. Therefore EyeOn was approached to provide temporary support on the planning department. 

By providing an interim planner, EyeOn supports Janssen Pharmaceutica with the production planning of one of the four plants (the ‘Powder unit’) on the Geel (BE) campus. This mainly includes process order management and scheduling while being in short contact with the plant to review the production progress and solve all kind of issues. 

In addition, EyeOn relieves Janssen from some activities regarding the maintenance of the production master data (e.a. BOM’s, recipes, product versions). For a timely introduction of new products within the life-science industry (including all regulatory and quality requirements), it is essential that all master data in the systems is correct and up-to-date.  EyeOn provides immediately resources to Janssen to support on all kind of areas within (chemical) planning.
