Update APS Scheduling System for MSD

Bart Paridaen   |   June 03, 2014   |   Life Science

MSD has started a project to achieve higher customer service levels and lower inventories, while improving their flexibility to respond to the customer needs. A main part of the improvement is a tighter integration between market forecast, planned deliveries from the production sites to the DC’s and final packaging planning at the factory. This integration asks for changes to the APS  planning models and the way they use is to its full benefit.

EyeOn is supporting MSD in defining the user requirements specifications, testing the changes in the planning models and training the employees with the new way of working. In this assignment, EyeOn takes the lead from a business perspective in the project team.
