Life Science idealab: Trade offs within multi echelon inventory management

There is an active discussion in many Life Science companies on inventory management with the trade-off between service level optimization and working capital reduction in the different production stages and locations. For most companies, effective inventory management is not simply about lowering absolute inventory levels, but rather making inventory decisions part of a well-balanced supply chain. Inventory management and control is key to deliver against the desired customer service levels. In this breakfast session, we will discuss pragmatic approaches for multi echelon inventory optimization: calculating safety stock target levels, analysis to define optimized safety stock calculation levels, calculating inventory reduction potential based on a current service level, product portfolio segmentation, etc.

We would hereby like to invite you for our next Idea lab on Tuesday November 7th, 2017 from 14 to 17h00 in Vught, the Netherlands.
