Markets and technologies for the High Tech Equipment 
industry have changed strongly over the last decade, requiring high performance on responsiveness of supply chain planning. Being responsive means integral supply chains should perform outstandingly on a.o. flexibility, delivery reliability and operational excellence.

One of the main challenges for the Equipment Supply Chain is the timely availability of materials. Any material shortage throughout the supply chain could affect the delivery performance towards the downstream partners, and eventually the customers. Material availability problems are caused by different sources of uncertainties on both demand and supply. Reducing these uncertainties often results in a certain level of risk. Companies, and supply chains, are continuously striving for an optimal balance between ensuring high material availability while mitigating the corresponding risk.

On Thursday April 13th 2017, EyeOn is hosting the second Equipment Supply Chain round table session. The main topic of this round table is short term demand visibility of customer orders. During this day participants from component suppliers, (sub)module builders and system integrators will share and discuss experiences, learnings and best practices.
