About High Tech Network

Planning and forecasting are at the very heart of the business processes of most industrial companies involving a variety of functional areas like marketing and sales, finance and SCM. And whereas ensuring good planning and forecasting is far from trivial in most business environments, few industries are more challenging than the high-tech electronics industry with its cyclical demand patterns, short product life cycles and complex production processes. This makes the high-tech electronics value chain a challenging environment for both researchers and practitioners in planning.

With this in mind, EyeOn has initiated the High-Tech & Electronics Industry - Business Planning network for managers working in SCM, Logistics and Sales and Operations in the high-tech electronics industry. Through semi-annual Round Table sessions, members are provided with the opportunity to share learning and best practices regarding forecasting and planning processes, organisational set-up and systems.
