New product introduction in Life Science starts within R&D /engineering and ends with a successful launch of the product. Many functions within pharma or medical device organizations, from marketing, R&D engineering, finance, to manufacturing, QA and suppliers are involved in this process. It’s all about managing activities needed to bring the product to the patient at the right time. The NPI process should be covered end to end using a stage and gate processes to manage it from a molecule, idea or opportunity till (regulatory) approval, risk assessment and successful introduction. It builds cross functional consensus, with complete visibility of the project and data for rapid analysis and decision making. This breakfast session is focussed on exchanging ideas to improve the NPI process for a successful launch.
